![]() ![]() To be honest, the path editing in RM is a little "rudimentary" (and will be improved in time), so you might be better off creating your paths in Google Earth, saving in KMZ format and adding to a UM via the Import path option. You can also import a custom path into a UM by using the Import path button. Select the pencil tool and draw a path by single-clicking to add path nodes.Open up the Edit pane and select the group Custom paths. For HB, you may as well stick to paths as both paths and polygons are treated the same way when exporting to HB (i.e. To add a line in a user map you need to add a custom path (or polygon). I am going to try a mouse in windowsĮdit, not the is as though the pencil is greyed out and doesn't highlight when I mouse over it. To add I created a user map with all my combined tracks and see the pencil tool but when I click on it it doesn't do anything.I am wondering if this is a Macbook running windows using Parallels issue with how the track pad works. Also if I need the full version is there an upgrade path? Thanks Am I missing something? I can do it in Google earth/HomePort then export and add to a project but do not see where it is done inside the software. I bought the Lite version and have browsed this forum and see mention of tools that allow you to create/add to existing/draw new tracks but I don't see this ability in the Lite version. Problem solved by combining them into one segmented track via Reefmaster. I use tracks to to outline grasslines and drop offs and had too many of them to fit in the H unit. I switched from Garmin to Hummingbird to take advantage of ipilot link and was dismayed at the lack of editing tools Hummingbird has compared to Garmin. First let me say I am happy happy happy to have found this software.
